Come and experience the magic of the You Yangs, one of Victoria’s most iconic trail playgrounds! This course delivers everything trail runners love, flowing single trails 🌳, fast open tracks 🪨, and the challenge of climbing toward the summit of Flinders Peak ⛰️.

The reward? Stunning views stretching across Port Phillip Bay 🌊… if you’ve got the energy to lift your eyes after that punchy climb! 😅

If you haven’t joined the Trailsplus Mountain Series, this is the perfect chance to discover what it’s all about, wild places, supportive runners, and unforgettable adventures. It’s no wonder so many runners come back year after year to tackle all five events in the series! 🏅🔥 Series Option available up to April 19th via Maroondah Dam portal only.

Our loop-based course sees runners return several times. That means plenty of chances for supporters to cheer you on 📣 and see their runner multiple times throughout the race.

Refunds, Transfers, Substitutions

Refunds

  • You may Refund yourself the entry cost less 50% until 18/06/2026.

Ticket Transfers

  • You may transfer your ticket to another of our events for a fee of 5% of your ticket price until the cutoff date of 20/03/2026. After this date ticket transfers are no longer possible.
  • You may transfer your ticket to another of our events for a fee of 25% of your ticket price until the cutoff date of 22/05/2026. After this date ticket transfers are no longer possible.
  • You may transfer your ticket to another of our events for a fee of 50% of your ticket price until the cutoff date of 20/06/2026. After this date ticket transfers are no longer possible.

Ticket Substitutions

  • You may substitute your ticket to someone else for a fee of 5% of your ticket price until the cutoff date of 20/03/2026. After this date ticket substitutions are no longer possible.
  • You may substitute your ticket to someone else for a fee of 25% of your ticket price until the cutoff date of 22/05/2026. After this date ticket substitutions are no longer possible.

Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + $0.50 for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.

We hope you had an amazing day on the trails and enjoyed every moment of your You Yangs adventure.

Today marked the 18th edition of the You Yangs Trail Running Festival, and events like this are only possible because of the incredible community that turns up year after year with smiles, determination and a willingness to challenge themselves.
