Are you ready for the ultimate endurance challenge? The Gwydra 113 is a middle distance triathlon centred around Porthcawl and the spectacular South Wales coastline, designed to deliver a challenging and memorable race experience.

The Gwydra 113 is a middle distance triathlon centred around Porthcawl and the spectacular South Wales coastline. The event has been designed to deliver a challenging and memorable race experience, bringing together a sea swim, a fast road bike course and a coastal half marathon to create 113 kilometres of racing through some of the best scenery South Wales has to offer.

What awaits you:

1900m Swim - A two lap sea swim off Coney Beach featuring an exciting Aussie exit between laps, perfect for spectator support!

90km Bike - A fast, rolling two lap course showcasing the coastline and countryside through Porthcawl, Ogmore by Sea, Southerndown, and Llantwit Major.

21.1km Run - A spectacular two lap coastal half marathon along the Wales Coastal Path before returning to the heart of Porthcawl.

Tiered entry costs start at £150.00 for the first 50 athletes.

The Finish Line
After 1.9km in the sea, 90km on the bike and 21.1km on foot, everything comes back to the heart of Gwydra 113 and the event hub.

The Gwydra finish line will be surrounded by supporters, music, commentary and the atmosphere of race day. We want the finish to feel like a genuine celebration of what every athlete has achieved, whether you're chasing a podium, setting a personal best or completing your first middle distance triathlon.

Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + £0.50 for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.
