24 HOURS. ONE 7.032KM LOOP. HOW FAR WILL YOU GO?

On the shores of Loch Ness, through forest trails, along the beach and into the darkness, Loch Ness 24 is back.

One trail loop. One full day and night. One simple challenge: Keep moving.

Run it solo or bring a team. Chase a distance you never thought possible, or find out what happens when “I’ll just do one more lap” turns into sunrise.

Choose your challenge. All races start at 10:00 on Saturday.

  • 24hr Solo or Teams (2–4 or 5–8)
  • 12hr Solo or Teams (2–3)
  • 6hr Solo

Two races in one. After the 22:00 cut-off, runners turn around and run the course in reverse. Race for the fastest climb on Mount Ness, or take on Beat the Coach in the 24hr.

This isn’t just about the miles. It’s headtorches weaving through the forest at midnight. Teammates, families and strangers willing you through another lap. Then that first glimpse of daylight after running through the night.

At the heart of it all is the Event Village. It’s your base for the weekend, where you can refuel, see your crew and soak up the atmosphere.

Every entry includes a camping pitch for you and your crew, chip timing, a finisher’s medal, a goody bag, free hot drinks and snacks for runners, and on-site medical support.

There’s no minimum distance and there are no lap cut-offs. Your race. Your challenge.

Refunds, Transfers, Substitutions

Refunds

Entrants will be offered the option to purchase refund protection during registration, subject to the protection provider's terms and conditions.

Runners who choose not to purchase this protection do so at their own risk, and no automatic refunds will be offered if they subsequently become unable to participate.

However, we appreciate that unexpected circumstances can arise, and requests for refunds may still be considered individually, at the organiser's discretion and subject to applicable consumer rights. No refund is guaranteed outside any statutory entitlement.

Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + £0.50 for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.
