WhyWeRun Wales - 250km Ultra Challenge

Five days. 250km. One extraordinary challenge on the wild Welsh coast, built around community, courage and purpose.

WhyWeRun Wales is a different kind of ultra challenge. There are no podiums, no cut-offs and no pressure to race anyone else. Instead, a small community takes on five demanding days together, supporting one another from the first kilometre to the final finish line.

Across rugged coastal trails, beaches and rolling Pembrokeshire countryside, you'll be challenged physically and mentally, but you'll never be expected to do it alone.

This is about more than covering 250km. It's about the people you share it with, discovering what you're capable of, and taking on something that has purpose beyond yourself.

Choosing Your Entry

There are three ways to join us for WhyWeRun Wales. Whichever option you choose, you'll take on the same five-day, 250km challenge, with the same support, experience and community.

Fundraising Entry
Pay for your event entry and commit to raising a minimum of £500 for our charity partner, bigmoose. Their team will be there to support you with your fundraising along the way.

Non-Fundraising Entry
Want to take on the challenge without a fundraising commitment? This option includes a £500 donation directly to bigmoose from your entry fee, so you're still making a difference.

Team Fundraising Entry
Take on the challenge with your friends and save £50 per person!
This isn't a relay. All four team members take on the full five-day, 250km challenge, sharing the experience and supporting each other along the way. Each team member also commits to raising a minimum of £500 for bigmoose, and all four must register together.

* Every team member is pledging to raise a minimum of £500 for bigmoose charity

Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + £0.50 for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.
