A three-stage, 112km, running journey along South Africa’s Wild Coast, a slice of unfenced coastal paradise that traverses the rural homeland of the isiXhosa people. This is a trail running kaleidoscope that is at it’s heart wild in every sense of the word, from footprint-free golden beaches along a warm ocean, to rolling grass headlands and delicate coastal forests teeming with life. The Wildcoast Wildrun is a fully supported linear running journey (start and finish in different places). Your entry fee includes four nights shared accomodation, all main meals from dinner on the day or arrival to breakfast on the day of departure, a numbered race bag with other race merch, three litres of aQuelle bottled drinking water per day, one fully provisioned aid station per day, medical & race support, race medal. Optional extras: transfers into the start (1hr from East London airport) and return from the finish (5hrs from Coffee Bay back to East London airport), massage therapy, medical evacuation insurance.

Cancellation and refund policy

PLEASE TAKE NOTE - Cancellation and refund policy for all entries:

Your entry fee includes a 20% non-refundable deposit of the full entry fee.

From date of entry until 30 April 2027, 80% of the full entry fee will be refunded for any entry cancellation in writing.

From 01 May 2027 - 31 July 2027, only substitutions will be accepted.

From 01 August 2027 until the event, no refunds or substitutions will be allowed.

  • Entries cannot be deferred from one year to the next. If you cancel your entry after the substitution/cancellation dates, you will forfeit your entry fee.

  • Entry insurance is highly recommended in case you need to cancel your entry after 30 April 2027.



Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + R0.50 for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.
