Wildrun: The Namibia Crossing

A 200km, five-day foot race from South Africa to Namibia through the ancient arid landscape of the /Ai/Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Park. From the crystal fields of Sendelingsdrif in South Africa to the infamous giant boulders of Tatasberg deep in the /Ai/Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Park; this unparalleled journey then crosses the Orange River into Namibia and the wild lands of the Fish River Canyon. This is the running experience of a lifetime; this is the this is the Namibia Crossing.


This ticket includes a luxury bus transfer from Cape Town International Airport to the start and back from the finish, single tented accomodation with mattress for nights 14-19 June, all main meals starting with dinner on the 14th June and ending with breakfast on the 20 June. You will need a sleeping bag, your race fuel, a valid passport and your personal kit.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

1.1 You agree that entry to an Event is granted to competitors on a non-changeable, non-transferable basis.

1.2 You may withdraw from the Event at any time, subject to the following provisions of this Rule.

1.3 Your entry fee includes a 15% non-refundable deposit of the full entry fee.

(a) From date of entry until 30 March 2026, 85% of the full entry fee will be refunded for any entry cancellation in writing.

(b) From 01 April 2026 - 15 May 2026, only substitutions will be possible.

(c) From 15 May  2026 until the event, no refunds or substitutions will be possible.

(d) Entries will not be deferred from one year to the next. If you cancel your entry after the substitution/cancellation dates, you will forfeit your entry fee.

(e) If Elemental Outdoor Sports (Pty) Ltd t/a Wildrunner changes the date of any Race in accordance with Rule 1.6, the cancellation policy will always be based on the original date of the Race.

1.4 If you cancel your entry less than 30 days before the start date, Elemental Outdoor Sports (Pty) Ltd t/a Wildrunner will not be liable to refund you any portion of the entry fee for the relevant Event, or otherwise pay you any sum whatsoever.

1.5 Elemental Outdoor Sports (Pty) Ltd t/a Wildrunner reserves the right to withdraw the offer of a place in the Event to you for any reason and at any time. In such circumstances, we will provide you with a full refund of the entry fee for the relevant Event.

1.6 The Elemental Outdoor Sports (Pty) Ltd t/a Wildrunner reserves the right to:

(a) modify the Race format; or

(b) change the dates of the Event; or

(c) change the location (within the planned country or to a new country) of the Event;

(d) cancel the Event any time before the official start date / time; or

(e) cancel the Race after it has started.

1.7 If we modify the Event in accordance with Rule 1.6 (a), (b), (c), (d) or (e), we will have no obligation to reimburse you the entry fee for the Race.

1.8 If the dates of the Event change in accordance with Rule (b), we will have no obligation to reimburse you the entry fee for the Event provided that the Event is rescheduled to commence on another date within 6 months before or 12 months after the date on which the Event was originally scheduled to commence, and provided that we give you reasonable notice of the new dates for the Event.

1.9 Except as set out in Rule 1.8 above, Elemental Outdoor Sports (Pty) Ltd t/a Wildrunner will not have any liability to you for the rescheduling of any Event.

1.10 Elemental Outdoor Sports (Pty) Ltd t/a Wildrunner is not responsible for any other costs relating to 1.6 (a), (b), (c), (d) or (e) above. This includes, but is not limited to, flights, hotels, insurance, visa etc.

Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + $0.50 for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.
