🎄 Edinburgh Christmas Runs: 5K, 10K & Junior Fun Run – festive fun for everyone!

The Edinburgh Christmas Running Festival has become a festive favourite for families, friends and colleagues alike. With a 5K, 10K and the Junior 1500m Fun Run, there’s something for everyone — all set against the magic of the city’s Christmas celebrations. The event has run since 2007 and is a true highlight of Edinburgh’s seasonal calendar.

Refunds

Refunds

  • You may Refund yourself the entry cost less 5% until 06/12/2025.

Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + £0.50 (inc VAT) for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.

7TH DECEMBER 2025 INSTRUCTIONS

1\ Race numbers and chips can be picked up from 7.30am on Sunday 7th December from the heck im gazebo situated next to the pavilion at the Arboretum Road end of Inverleith Park.
2.5k and 10k route maps can also be picked up at the check in desk
3. Baggage drop gazebo will be next to the check in area.
4. If you have ordered and paid for a T shirt these can also be picked up at the check in area.
5 Refreshments- a light refreshment van will be situated near the start area and will be open from 8am.
6.Race results these will be published on www.greatscottishevents.net within one hour of the race completion.
7.Anyone who has not but wishes to do so, entries will be open until Midnight on Saturday 6th December
